Traditions & Flavours of the Ossola Valley
Discover the Traditions, Nature and Flavours of the Italian Alps
Leave Lake Maggiore behind and spend a day discovering the authentic charm of the Ossola Valleys, where Alpine traditions, unspoilt landscapes and genuine local hospitality come together to create an unforgettable experience.
The journey begins in Domodossola, where guests board the scenic Vigezzina-Centovalli Railway, one of Europe's most spectacular mountain railways, travelling towards the charming hamlets of Verigo and Marone.
From here, participants can choose between two guided walking routes of different difficulty levels, following woodland trails and historic paths through the beautiful Alpine countryside to the historic Graglia Mills.
Awaiting the group are the welcoming Women of Val Grande National Park, dressed in traditional costume, who greet guests with live accordion music and a typical Ossola snack featuring local cheeses, cured meats, homemade bread, regional wines and the area's famous homemade bread cake.
The experience continues in Trontano, where guests enjoy entertaining group activities before gathering for a traditional Ossola dinner.
Freshly prepared polenta, the renowned Trontano ribs, vegetarian specialities and regional products celebrate the rich culinary heritage of the valley.
As evening falls, everyone gathers around the fire to enjoy music, singing and shared moments of celebration—bringing the day to a memorable close in true Alpine style.
Perfect for incentive groups seeking an authentic cultural experience that combines nature, local traditions and meaningful team connections.
