Hiking between Lakes & Mountains
A Week of Hiking, Nature and Authentic Italian Experiences
For a group of 150 participants, Sapori d'Italia designed and coordinated a bespoke seven-day trekking programme, showcasing the extraordinary landscapes of Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta and the spectacular Ossola Valleys.
The itinerary combined scenic lakeside walks with unforgettable hikes through some of Northern Italy's most beautiful natural areas. Guests explored the alpine village of Macugnaga, nestled beneath the impressive east face of Monte Rosa, before discovering the unspoilt landscapes of the Alpe Veglia and Alpe Devero Natural Park, where mountain lakes, forests and alpine meadows provided breathtaking scenery throughout the week.
Among the programme's highlights was a panoramic hike on Mount Mottarone, known as the Mountain of Seven Lakes, offering magnificent views across the surrounding lakes and the Alps. For the more adventurous participants, an exhilarating via ferrata experience added an extra element of excitement to the itinerary, all under the guidance of qualified professionals.
The programme also included a full day exploring the enchanting Borromean Islands, combining history, culture and the timeless beauty of Lake Maggiore.
To celebrate the conclusion of the week, guests gathered for an exclusive Italian evening on Isola Bella, featuring live music, traditional Italian cuisine and a warm, convivial atmosphere—the perfect finale to an unforgettable incentive experience.
This project demonstrates how outdoor adventure, cultural discovery and authentic hospitality can be combined to create a rewarding and expertly managed incentive programme in one of Italy's most spectacular destinations.
