Trekking week between lakes&mountains

In April 2017 first contact with a big corporation to organize a trekking week on the hills of Lake Maggiore and in Ossola’s Valleys, for a group of 150 people. In summer 2017 the site inspection and in July 2018 the event.

After a first relaxing day, the second day couldn’t miss a visit of  the Borromean Islands,“Lake Maggiore’s jewels”,  followed by a walk on “The chestnut path”, that connects Stresa to the town of Belgirate.

The third day the group leaves to discover Alpe Devero, its high peaks and its amazing lakes, protected by Piedmont Region.

The fourth day was a free day, to relax and discover the villages on the shores of lake Maggiore, a bus was available to visit Arona and its market.

The fifth day a part of the group has visited Alpinia Garden, a balcony that overlooks lake Maggiore, ideal to relax between nature and mountain flowers; then has reached the top of Mottarone with an incredible path. The most adventurous have preferred Via Ferrata and then have reached Mottarone’s top. Lunch with local products accompanied by a spectacular view on 7 lakes and Alps.

The sixth day the group has discovered Anzasca Valley, with a trekking activity between Macugnaga and its mountains, Macugnaga is a small town at the base of Monte Rosa, Italy’s second highest mountain.

The last day the group has explored lake Orta and its villages such as Pella, Orta and S. Giulio Island, then has taken the panoramic train to reach Madonna del Sasso Sanctuary to admire the unbelievable view.
In the evening Italian Party at Isola Bella, music great food and fun!
