Mix together a fantastic sunny day, 180 people of different nationalities, desire to get involved and the game can start!
The guests divided into teams leave from Baveno’s landing stage to reach the exclusive lakefront location, where the challenge takes place.
The challenge is divided into three steps:
1st step – team “haka” (traditional Maori war dance) creation on board of a private motorboat during transfer, each team has to perform it before starting the challenge;
2nd step – challenge’s tools preparation; each team chooses among the team members the most artistic, engineering and athletic ones to create three different small groups; each participant performs his task supported by expert motivators;
3rd step – the challenge starts.
The artistic group decides the subject to be painted on a triptych composed of three panels. These have to be rescued by the athletic group, that will use a raft made of recycled materials (plastic bottles) built by the engineering group.
The engineering group with tape, bamboos, a lot of plastic bottles, creativity and ability builds its waterproof “raft”.
The athletic group, with recklessness on board the raft, paddles from one side of the location to an other to rescue, one panel at a time, the triptych painted by the artistic group of the team. Pay attention: don’t let the panels get wet and above all, don’t sink!
The winner is the fastest team, but it is declared evaluating also its triptych and imagination used creating its “haka”!
Target achieved: great fun for all participants and finally a well deserved “beer & cheers”!
